Jabra just announced two new wireless headphones to add to its flagship Elite range. The new Jabra Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t are engineered for the best true wireless calls, sport and music experience. Taking inspiration from Jabra’s history of enterprise technology and the market-leading Elite Sport headphones released in late 2016, Jabra has taken another big jump in wireless headphone technology meaning they’ll be future proofed for a good while.

All of the Jabra Elite range come with background noise cancelling technology, however, the Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t take it one step further. With a 4-microphone array, these earbuds block out wind noise as well as background noise – gamechanger. The products are designed to fit comfortably within the ear and the 6mm speakers enable users to block out, or let in, ambient sound. For those who have used some of the widely available wireless headphones available market today, you’ll experience wind noise and weak microphones which let down otherwise flawless products. Hopefully, with these new products, wind noise and mic issues are a thing of the past… The Zones team can’t wait to get our hands on the Elite 65t to take advantage of their best of breed noise cancelling technology.

With Jabra Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t, you can instantly connect to Alexa, Siri® or Google Now™, allowing you to quickly get the information you need – whether that be setting appointments, finding nearby events, or having messages read back to you. (Operating system dependent). And you can do this all day with 15 hours total battery life – that’s 5 hours in the headphones themselves and an extra 10 hours in the pocket-sized charging case!

Jabra has future-proofed these products too in a variety of ways. The high-quality finish is evident just from looking at the product and, if that wasn’t enough, the Elite 65t is IP55 rated and the Elite 65t is IP56 rated. To further show the commitment and quality of these new products, Jabra offers a 2-year warranty against sweat and dust – we see this as a bold commitment that backs up the quality. Especially great for enterprises rolling larger quantities of these out to team members.

The Elite 65t and Active 65t also come with Bluetooth 5.0 – the new standard in Bluetooth connectivity that is built into the Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 8 and iPhone 10. The Galaxy S8 was the first phone to ship with Bluetooth 5.0 in April 2017 which means the Jabra Elite 65t and Active 65t will outlast your current handset and probably your next one too. In this major update, Bluetooth 5.0 gives 2 x speed, stretches 4 x further and gets 8 x data throughput over Bluetooth 4.2. With the increased data output, users can benefit from outputting to 2 devices at once – pretty cool.

The Jabra Elite 65t works with the new Jabra Sound+ app, which lets you enhance your headphones even further. From this app, you can select your preferred voice assistant, customise your music profile, modify how much nearby noise you want to hear, keep track of your battery charge level, and much more. And since it’s an app, Jabra will keep developing it making the headphones and experience better and better.
